Scar

 

Treatment:

 

1. Fraxel / Mosaic / Sellars

 

Procedure which uses thousands of thin laser beams for skin resurfacing. Laser beams reach deep into the dermis generating collagen.             

Procedure Time:        10-30 minutes, varies depending on the size of the affected area.

Sessions:                3-5 times within one month time

Anesthesia / Pain:     Anesthetic ointment applied for 40 minutes / soreness and burning sensation after the procedure

Daily Activities:         Face wash and make-up is allowed. (Avoid if blistering happens)

                             Two or three times of recovery ointment application is necessary for a week.

                             No Sauna. Sun Protection is crucial.

                             Erythema & browning of skin color may last for weeks or months, but will gradually improve.

 

2. Micro needle (Mezo roller)

 

About 200 of the rollers mezzo with very thin needles (micro-needle) for the desired treatment lodged as part of a roller to push the skin to stimulate collagen to induce. At this point the procedure gives the natural wound-healing effect of collagen in the dermis, epidermis, without harm to itself by creating acne scars and stretch marks, improves skin whiteners, and skin has the effect of lifting.

Deeper penetration of the rollers 2-3 days may be accompanied by Erythema. Mezzo-roller treatment is available in conjunction with other treatments.

Procedure time:        10-30 minutes, depending on the area of treatment

Anesthesia:              Anesthetic ointment, more than 40 minutes

Pain:                      Burning, soreness after the procedure

Daily Life;                Depending on the strength of penetration, marks r blisters might occur.  In this case, the patient should avoid using makeup and cleansing foams for 2-3 days.

About one week of ointment 2-3 times a day, avoid the sauna, use sun protection!

 

3. Cross Therapy

 

100% TCA solution chemical is applied on indented area which results in proliferation of collagen fibers, in result of what, the scar narrows down. Especially if the scar is deep, this procedure is effective if done 3-5 times in about 4 weeks interval.

 

4. Subcision

 

The process involves separating the skin tissue in the affected area from the deeper scar tissue. This allows the blood to pool under the affected area, eventually causing the deep rolling scar to level off with the rest of the skin area
