▶What is FLUSH?

For most people face turns red easily from stimulation (emotional changes, changes in temperature). Flush is long lasting and the symptom is treatable.

 Although normal people may face the problem as a temporary discomfort, people suffering from flush face long lasting symptoms. Due to its permanent symptoms, their social life is usually interfered and uncomfortable.

▶Treatment:

1.     New V-Beam (perfectar)

Conventional V-beam laser has been used to treat facial flushing and other vascular diseases. The new V-Beam is faster and stronger than regular V-Beam.

  New V-Beam (perfectar) Principles

The principle in which the blood vessels are destroyed through laser wavelength that absorbs into the red blood cells.

Unlike the traditional long-wavelength laser such as V-beam, micro-pulse is applied to the new V-Beam; Perfectar.

New V-Beam (Perfectar) Treatment Process

- Length of Time: Depending on the condition, takes up to 20~ 40mins.

- Anesthesia: None

- Degree of Irritableness: Slight stinging sensation.

- After Treatment: Ice pack massage and relaxation care.

- Daily Routine: Generally, facial cleansing and application of make-up is allowed right after the treatment. There may be swelling and bruising for 2~3 days depending on the sensitivity of the patients skin.

Precautions and Tip for Patients Suffering from Flush

Avoid exposure to UV-Ray.

Avoid exposure to sudden temperature changes. (ex: Sauna)

Reduce alcoholic consumption.

Avoid hot and spicy food. 

Use steroid ointment after consulting with doctor.

Cautions after the Treatment

Flush treatment using 532nm light may result some swelling but this case is minor compare to the V-Beam treatment.

Additionally, the spotted areas may be darkened due to the exposure of laser lights. (similar to IPL). Darkened scabbed areas will clear out on its 7th day.

Generally, there is no interference with the daily routine after the treatment; however, there may be slight scabbing. Face wash and make-up application is allowed after the treatment.
